There is a quiet joy in designing behind the scenes ~ losing yourself in the process of creating something that moves beyond you, to be chosen and lived in by others. Becoming part of someone’s expression, their rhythm and everyday life.

Design began through drawing and painting ~ a way of observing shape, colour and shadow. Over time, it became a way of finding meaning in the everyday and beauty in ordinary things.

Each print begins in memory and observation, translated into colour, pattern and form through nature, people, place and lived experience.

Garments are shaped through an understanding of fit, cut and drape ~ where complexity is refined into something simple and considered.
